Transportation Options for Lathrup Village Seniors

Partnering with Southfield, we are providing transportation for Senior residents:
Transportation of Southfield Seniors (TOSS), uses lift-equipped vans to transport senior residents (age 60+) who live in Southfield or Lathrup Village. TOSS accommodates permanently physically challenged persons of any age. A donation of $5 per round trip is suggested. Additional donations are welcome.
Vans are equipped with lifts to provide for wheelchair users. Riders who require wheelchairs or walkers are asked to be accompanied by a companion to assist the rider on and off the vehicle at the point of pick up and destination. For personal safety, all wheelchairs must be equipped with an attached seat belt.
TOSS provides transportation to and from medical facilities and offices within the geographical Ares bounded by Fourteen mile on the north, Eight mile on the south, Coolidge on the east, and Middlebelt on the west.TOSS travels to Providence and Beaumont facilities on a regular basis. Appointments may be made any time within two weeks of the trips. Appointments for banking visits may be made throughout the week as well.

By Appointment - Doctor, Dental, and other Medical Appointments
Transportation is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
By Appointment (Open to qualifying residents)
Transportation available to:
* Banking visits
* Shopping at Meijer and Kroger
* Beauty and Barber shop appointments
* Miscellaneous appointments - other shopping, movie theater, parks, events, etc. within Toss boundaries
