A building permit is needed for any project in which a building or structure is to be erected, altered, enlarged, structurally repaired, moved, or converted to different usage. In order to apply for a Building Permit, the City requires the following items:
- Completed Building Permit Application
- $50 non-refundable permit application fee
- Two copies of the building plans
- One copy of the contract, which must include job price
- One copy of the Contractor's and Insurance License and Driver's License
- A Homeowners Affidavit (If permit is not being pulled by Contractor)
