The
primary responsibility of the Building Department is to monitor and enforce all
building codes to protect the health, safety and welfare of the community.
The Building Department issues permits and inspects all new construction, alterations,
additions to existing structures, and commercial buildings' chagnes in occupancy.
The Buidling Department also inspects all businesses locating within the City.
