Municipal Cable Access

Village Cable 17, is the City's Cable TV outlet.
It carries TV programs created by the Cable TV Dept. Regular local programs include:
cablecasts of Regular City Council Meetings; "In-Brief" (a quick review of the most recent meeting of Council);
and "Lathrup Village Update," a video magazine that includes City related information and previews of upcoming City activities, and reviews of past City events.
In addition, special programming is occasionally undertaken, such as:
the Annual Recreation Dept. Dance Recital; Black History Month presentations; Town Hall Meetings and other important or valuable community events and speakers.

Between programs, an electronic Community Bulletin Board is displayed.
It includes City and Community announcements and other useful information.
Residents and organizations are invited to add their messages to the mix ­ including Lost & Found announcements.
For maximum exposure of a Community Bulletin Board announcement it should be submitted 4 weeks in advance.
