The Department of Public Service staff will begin leaf pickup approximately the second week in October, and continue for 6 weeks until the end of November.
DPS prides itself on its leaf pickup. To help continue this excellent program, follow these simple rules:
Place leaves at the edge of the road, not in the street.

1. Ensure that no grass, flowers, twigs, branches, etc., are mixed in. These items can clog or damage the leaf machines.
2. Please place these items (other than grass, which is not picked up) in yard waste bags or containers.
3. Leaves in plastic bags will NOT be picked up.
4. If you live on Santa Barbara or Bloomfield, place leaves along the adjacent side street.
5. After leaf collection season ends, usually by December 1st, please place your leaves in kraft bags at the curb on your regular collection day.
