City Clerk
Responsibilities

The city clerk is the official keeper of the records and the city seal. The City 
Clerk is also responsible for 

- Records minutes of the city council, zoning board of appeals, and all special
   meetings called by the city Council.

-Administers oath of office

-Processes legal documents (ordinances, bids, resolutions, etc.) Freedom of Information Act forms, Sewer Back-up Notice of Claim forms, CDBG funds and SMART credits.

The City Clerk  administers all local, State, and Federal elections which are held in the Community Room of the Municipal Building.

There are two precincts for the City of Lathrup Village. Both are located in the Municipal Building at:

27400 Southfield Rd.
Lathrup Village, MI

August 4, 2020 - Election Day
New Rights for Michigan Voters -Register to vote through Election Day
Register to vote through July 20, 2020 - Regular Office hours:  8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Register in person with your City Clerk -July 21, 2020- August 4, 2020
Register and vote August 4,2020 (Election Day):  In person with your City Clerk, not at a precinct.  Voters who register on Election Day get a ballot and can vote that day.
Last Day Absentee ballots will be mailed:  Friday, July 31, 2020 8am-5pm
Clerk's office will be open Saturday, August 1, 2020 7:00am-3:00pm
Voters may obtain an absent voter ballot in person in the Clerk's office August 3, 2020 8am-4pm

Weatherization Works-Free Program - OLHSA

The Weatheriztion Assistance Program is still accepting applications for free weatherization to your home.  You must meet federal income guidelines and be an Oakland County resident.
