Lathrup Village and the Detroit Institute of Arts are pleased to invite you to the dedication of It Takes A Village, a stunning new mural by artist Andrea Slomczenski, located at Lathrup Village City Hall. Join us in celebrating this beautiful addition to the community and hear from the artist about their inspiration and creative process.

The mural celebration will take place at Lathrup Village City Hall on Thursday, November 13th, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Remarks will begin at 5:15 in front of the mural, followed by a reception with light refreshments.
