City of Lathrup Village Awarded $10,000 MAMC ADA Infrastructure Grant
Lathrup Village, MI – August 28, 2025 – The City of Lathrup Village is proud to announce it has been awarded $10,000 through the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks’ (MAMC) ADA Infrastructure Grant program. This funding will support accessibility improvements to ensure all residents and visitors can fully engage in civic life and City services.
The MAMC ADA Infrastructure Grant program provides critical resources to municipalities across Michigan to enhance compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The City of Lathrup Village will utilize these funds to make targeted upgrades that improve public access, remove physical barriers, and strengthen the community’s commitment to inclusivity here at City Hall.
“Accessibility is at the heart of building a welcoming community,” said Alisa Emanuel, City Clerk. “This grant allows us to take meaningful steps toward ensuring that every resident has equal access to their government and public spaces.
