There is a water main break near 28500 Southfield Road. Crews will be out first thing on 2/11 to complete the fix. Water service will be unavailable from 8 AM - 12 PM (noon). Affected properties will be notified by DPS.
There is a water main break near the corner of Wiltshire & Bloomfield. Crew are expected to begin repairs around 2:00 PM. Water service will be cut off between Santa Barbara & Sunset Blvd. Water service restoration is anticipated to be at 6:00 PM.
Affected properties will receive a notice at their property via DPS.

The City of Lathrup Village is updating its 2021 Comprehensive Plan and is in the process of gathering input and feedback about a variety of topics. This survey is a brief focus survey on the topic of housing as it relates to the City of Lathrup Village and takes about 10 minutes to complete. The LV City Council has created this new committee to review how the City communicates with its residents, businesses, and community partners, and to advise the Council on ways to improve city communications and engagement.
We are seeking volunteers to serve on this committee and help guide the future of LV communications and engagement.
To apply, fill out a City Boards/Commissions application (https://aptg.co/-lcDPZ) and include a cover letter & resume to be considered.
Application deadline is 2:00 PM on January 21, 2026.
Committee members will help explore and recommend improvements to:
-Improve the clarity, accessibility, timeliness, and reach of city communications
-Strengthen public understanding of city activities, decisions, and processes
-Encourage greater participation in public meetings, civic processes, and community events
Property Owner/Occupant Responsibility - Snow & Ice Removal
Property owners, occupants, or their agents are responsible for keeping sidewalks adjacent to their property clear and safe. Snow must be removed within 12 hours after snowfall ends during daylight hours, or by 6:00 p.m. the following day if snowfall ends overnight. Ice must be removed as soon as possible. If immediate removal is not possible, sand or other approved materials must be applied immediately to prevent slippery conditions, and the ice must be removed as soon as conditions allow.
Trash/Recycling pickup is NOT affected.
