Utility Bill Rate Change
On May 19, 2025, the City Council approved the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Budget and Fee Schedule. These approvals establish new utility rates for the upcoming year, which customers will see on their next bill. Rates were increased to offset the costs associated with the GLWA/SOCWA and Evergreen-Farmington Sanitary District rate increases.
Each account is different, and bills depend on multiple factors, including usage and meter size. Below is an example of the upcoming rate change for one account:
Fiscal Year 2024-25 Minimum Bill = $69.96 (month)
Fiscal Year 2025-26 Minimum Bill = $73.07 (month)
~4.45% increase
