CITY COUNCIL VACANCY
Due to Councilmember Barksdale's resignation from the City Council, the City will appoint a new member to the City Council within 60 days by a majority vote of the remaining members of the Council.
The appointee will hold office until the Monday following the November 2025 election (City Charter - Section 5.7).
If you are interested in serving on the City Council for this period, please submit an application (https://shorturl.at/MNzLj), resume/CV, and cover letter to the City Administrator (mgreene@lathrupvillage.org) or mail/drop off the application and additional materials to City Hall.
Applications are due by 2:00 PM on May 13, 2025.

WATER BILL INFORMATION
We have been informed that numerous residents did not receive their February 2025 utility bill or received it past the late fee date. While the City delivered utility bills to USPS on schedule, we discovered USPS did not process our mailing request timely, resulting in late distribution.
Due to this issue, the City will not be charging late fees on the February 2025 utility bill if they are paid by the end of April 2025.
We apologize for any inconvenience. If you have further questions, please contact City Hall.

There is a water main break near the corner of Morningside Plaza & Red River. Crews will be heading to the area when available to address the issue.

Water Main Break - 2/26 - UPDATE
The water main fix has been completed and water flow/pressure should be returning to normal.
There is no need to boil your water, however, if you do have discolored water, run COLD water in your lowest water faucet for a couple of minutes (or until the water runs clear).
