There is a Lathrup Village "Town Hall" meeting being publicized on social media. This is NOT a City sponsored event. No City staff or Councilmember will be in attendance unless they choose to attend as a citizen/visitor.

WATER MAIN BREAK - 1/10
Due to a water main break on Wiltshire Blvd, the previously scheduled fire hydrant replacement has been postponed. We will post when it is rescheduled.
Water service will be disrupted on Wiltshire (heading north) to Blackstone Dr. around 12 PM (noon) until the fix is complete. Impacted residents have been notified via door hanger.

WATER SERVICE SHUT OFF
Tomorrow (1/10) crews will be installing a fire hydrant on Rainbow Drive between Lathrup Blvd and Southfield Road. Water service for nearby residents will be discontinued from approximately 11 AM - 3 PM.
For those wondering - the last day to put your Christmas tree at the curb to be picked up by our contractor is Monday, January 13.

The City seeks a resident to serve on the Lathrup Village Parks & Rec Committee.
Interested residents should submit an application to the City Administrator. Priority and preference will be given to those with professional experience in related fields.

Water Main Break (12/16)
There is a water main break on Southfield Road near Goldengate Drive E. Please avoid the area while crews work to fix it.

City Hall phone lines are currently down (12/12). We are working to resolve the issue.
City Hall will close at 3:00 PM today (12/10) for employee training. We will reopen at 8:00 AM tomorrow (12/11).

End of 2024 Yard Waste Season
Next week (12/9) is the last week for curbside yard waste pick-up in 2024. SOCRRA’s Recycling Drop-off Site will be accepting yard waste from residents starting December 16 Residents may bring up to 10 bags per day. No appointment is needed but residents must show proof of residency and may only bring yard waste.

The curbside collection will resume in April 2025.
