SKY GRILL OPENS IN DOWNTOWN LATHRUP VILLAGE
A new restaurant in the Southfield commercial corridor is open for business. Sky Grill, which features Mediterranean fare, opened its doors on Tuesday, January 10. The new eatery is located at 27411 Southfield Road in Lathrup Village.
Owner Nazar Asmar is a veteran of the restaurant business. He also owns and operates Princess Mediterranean Grill in West Bloomfield.
The Sky Grill menu offers a gamut of dishes from lamb chops charbroiled to order, chicken kabob and beef shawarma to vegetarian options such as hummus, baba ganouj and tabbouleh.
“We’re excited to have another dining option in our section of Southfield Road,” said Sean Kammer, Executive Director of the Lathrup Village Downtown Development Authority. “Lathrup has a lot of great smaller restaurants with minimal dining areas, or eateries that focus on takeout and delivery. So Sky Grill, with it ample dining floor, is a welcome addition.”
Sky Grill is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
