As you may have seen over the past several years, the Detroit Institute of Arts has a program called Inside\Out where they temporarily install replicas of art masterpieces in local communities. We are happy to learn that Lathrup Village has been chosen as one of the communities for this year! The DIA will install 7 to 12 works of art for display between August 1 and October 31. In preparation for this project, the city must identify 15 specific potential sites for placement. These sites can be anywhere in the city and the artwork can be either mounted on a post or hung from a building wall.
We need your help! Where would you like to see these works placed? The DDA Design committee got the list started, but we want to hear from you!
